Displacement measurement between two points
The following Solexperts® measuring systems, which can be recorded manually or automatically with our data loggers, are available for point measurements of displacements and deformations:
- Distometer, a portable, high-precision convergence measuring device based on Invar steel wires.
- Joint extensometers measure displacements across construction joints, construction cracks and on rock surfaces. In addition to displacements perpendicular to the joint surface, shear movements can also be measured.
- Surface extensometers monitor deformations over measuring ranges between 1 and 6 m. The measuring rods are made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic, steel or invar steel.
- The portable measuring instruments Curvo- and Deformeter are used to record strain and changes in curvature on component surfaces, e.g. on tunnel segments and steel girders. From this, the acting internal forces (normal force and bending moments) and the load can be concluded.
- The Clino is a permanently mounted inclinometer, which very precisely measures tilts in structures.
- The portable clinometer is used to manually measure changes in the inclination of structures with high precision.
