Pump Packer Systems (PPS)
Pump packer systems are used for depth-oriented pumping tests. The isolation of defined borehole sections is carried out with inflatable packers. The packer sleeve can be installed above or below the submersible pump, depending on the customer's requirements. A double packer configuration with submersible pump is also possible. The water can be pumped through the well pipe or a pumping tube. Solexperts also offers so-called "torpedo" elements for the installation of the submersible pump in the test string.
Applications
- to determine the permeability and yield of isolated borehole sections in open boreholes
- to evaluate the yield and to measure hydrochemical parameters of individual filter sections in multiple-filtered wells
